marekinc.com Lots of things cooking around the diamond business I think. Several weeks ago a Canadian Envoy from the U.N. dropped in to visit DEBEERS. He was wondering if they had any suggestions to offer as to how to shut down UNITA's illegal diamond trade. Revenue from the diamonds is used to fund UNITA's military efforts against the Angolan Government. Perhaps the suggestions were unsatisfactory. I wonder if some of the diamond cutters in S.A. might actually prefer Angolan Diamonds.
