how is that? as the seller of a put you are obligated to buy stock if the owner of the put exercises his option.

Selling Puts on Dell: It is like free money, but you could loose your stock!

You must be thinking of CALLs.... I don't own the stock... I just ride the growth through the PUTs. If I have to buy, it's because I want to, else I'd roll out.
