Thanks Richard. So you're using it as an entry into an already strong trend with the 0 crossing for entry. This makes sense cause the CCI won't usually dip below -150 in a strong uptrend, right?

Is it also safe to presume you won't sell on a 200 crossing unless the price confirms the drop, too, or do you immediately sell on it regardless of what price is doing?

One last question....in a consolidation period the 0 line can be crossed numerous times. Is there something you do to avoid all the whipsaws with the CCI? Would you look to exit the trade when it becomes clearer and then wait for a breakout?
