The reason the DELLHEADS are spending so much time on this thread is twofold (a) they find CPQ attractive (b) they are worried about DELL and the sector.

They don't know whether to believe Niles or Kumar.

That is what CPQ holders want and hope. But why buy CPQ? Why bet on a miracle CEO? Why be in this sector?

There seem to be a great number of people in this sector that you question. We've made a lot of money in this industry. I bot Dell and Gateway and made a bundle even though I sold too early.

You obviously don't believe in value stocks, of which I think CPQ is one. It doesn't take a miracle CEO, but one who has a decent track record and has a sense of company organization and their markets. There are plenty of CEO's that qualify from which CPQ could select. It is going to be a real sweetheart deal for the fortunate successful candidate, and there will be plenty of people in line for the job.

The CEO rumors will begin to fly shortly. Any guesses, anyone?
