Morn'n BAM.... Thomson supplies the "real-time" stock quotes to various sites; Fox, New York Post etc. Each site would like you, me, anyone to register with them in order to use the "free quote" service. I assume that each site would like the registration as a tracking factor. So since I registered at the Thomson site, I tried various others that supply "real-time", without registering, but only entering my name and password. And I was let in to use the "real-time" stuff and the site's services. It's no big deal, but I assume it's like getting in through the back door. I don't know if the tracking is accounted for with that means of accessing the site.... It was just something different....
