Ike, I only have mutual funds in my 401K and they have essentially mirrored the markets as they are large cap growth. Most other funds have underperformed and some small cap ones have been awful. This quit your job and trade from home phenomenon is becoming more common. More folks will get pulled in as the melt up proceeds and they'll be looking for a job when we next test the 200 day ma. I don't think it is motivated by pure greed, I think there's an element of fantasy involved as demonstrated by the myriad of brokerage ads we see on television. Making your living from the beach is very appealing, but if I do that it will involve fish and coconuts, there won't be any internet connections for miles around ( probably another fantasy <g>).
