The way I understand the relationship is that Microphonics deals more in the Automotive area and Ultraphonics concentrates in the industrial area. I believe the model MDL A07 is the less expensive model and must be the older version (I'm guessing now). That is the one the was/is being marketed with Microphonics. The model 111R is the more expensive model and is being marketed to industrial companies. I could see either one being used in the Automotive arena. I'm also not sure if the MDL A07 includes a transmitter (maybe some that knows for sure can comment). The model that I saw was the 111R and it does include the transmitter.

My understanding is that Jimmy pretty much takes care of the Automotive customers since that is where his interests are. Bud and Myles head up the Industrial section. That is the area that I see as the brightest future for the company. There is soooooo much potential business out there. If you would like to see what the units look like, go to the web site

In addition, please call or e-mail them and ask for a copy of the videos (both). When you finish looking at them, pass them on to a friend. You will be truely amazed. I was!!!
