That's fine, Joan. I am not offended. However, I did cite a cover story in Newsweek and a discussion between archaeologists in a Nova transcript, as well as the cocaine mummies transcript, to support my point of view. These sources all directly quote academic archaeologists themselves saying that some of their colleagues are intellectual cowards, afraid of jeopardizing their tenure.

It is honest to say that you don't want to debate something, but disingenuous in my opinion to then offer your opinion anyway without considering the material that has been presented, from sources generally recognized as reputable. I already knew what "paradigm" meant, as well. At this thread I think it is generally safe to say that people know most of the big words, or have the curiosity to look them up if they do not.
