Profits at DRD up 36% in March quarter

<< Gold mining group, Durban Roodepoort Deep (DRD), turned in a solid performance in the March quarter, with cash operating profit up 36 percent to R22,1 million.

This was on the back of an additional 319 kilograms of gold or a six per cent increase in output to 5241 kg. Cash operating costs were marginally up at R50959 per kilogram (December - R50397/kg). >>
