G'day all, Paul - regarding T upping the ante on UMG, IMHO, there may be some indirect benefit. This is how I see it: regardless of who's getting MediaOne, NT should have certain amount of biz in the broadband area. Therefore, there is no impact directly. However, considering cable has become a hot property, I think there may be a gold rush for smaller outfits [if there is any?] In the past, these guys are in the backwater with limit buildout ability, financially. Now, with deep pockets vying for them, they have a better ability to buildout. And that means more biz for SFA, GIC, NT etc.

How's that for creative writing <VBG>

best, Bosco
