Looks like it is going to be the internet. Gran Colombia Resources Inc GRM Shares issued 35,553,321 1999-04-22 close $0.55 Friday Apr 23 1999 Mr. Mauro Coppola reports Gran Colombia Resources is continuing to investigate the best opportunities available to increase shareholder value, and has recently also been offered a number of investments in the Internet/e-commerce sector. Although GCR is in the process of evaluating a number of these opportunities, it has reached no agreement or decision to make an investment, and management felt that this announcement was necessary in light of recent increased speculation in GCR's shares. Even though GCR is contemplating the possibility of an investment in some form of Internet/e-commerce business, there can be no assurance that such an investment will actually be made. For reference sake..from the last Sedar report Shares out 35 million Cash on hand $12 million Cash loan to BVG $1.5 million. BVG has enough money to pay back this loan with their current mining operation. That is a lot of cash to do an internet deal with. So far all of the mining companies that have gone into the internet arena have done it with next to no cash. I am in yesterday at .43 and more today at .60. It is going to take an announcement to get this ball really rolling but I am going to take a risk. Best Regards KEITH
