Analysts have just been revisiting their estimates of PAIR's this year and next year earnings, and have reaffirmed that they expect them to stay profitable, in the 6-8 cents per share per quarter range. With 2000 being sharply better than that. Just FYI.

This is from a recent ATT press release 4/27:

....AT&T also said it started a campaign to roll out DSL services with a deployment of 1,200 POPs during the next 12 months. AT&T is in market trials with business customers and will make the service available by this September, according to Kathleen Earley, president of AT&T Internet Services.

Analysts said the AT&T goal of 1,200 POPs will about double the number of DSL POPs in North America. Beth Gage, senior broadband consultant at TeleChoice, in Tulsa, Okla., said the total number of DSL POPs in North America, based on a survey conducted by TeleChoice of incumbent carriers, competitive local exchange carriers and some Canadian providers, is about 1,268. ....snip
