From the book "The Serbs" by Tim Judah, p73 , there is a paragraph describing how the Bosnian Serbs authorities confiscated the hunting rifles of Bosnian Muslims the day before the village was attacked by the Bosnian Serb militia (5/3/92). That made the job easy for the Serbs who proceeded to butcher many of the villagers. The authorities were able to extract the guns of the villagers because they had lists, and the villagers had no second amendment.
Let me get this straight- guns are evil, that is unless NATO has them, in which case they are good. Hold on, Germany is a member of NATO, so unless you like Nazi's, guns are good for them now but bad for them in 1942. Wait, guns are the problem ,so the sad history of people killing each other with edged weapons before guns were invented couldn't have happened. If there was ever a perfect example of the fact that evil comes from people, not the tools they use, it has to be the Balkans.

Darren, The USA's bombing campaign is now killing just as many Serbians as the Serbians are killing Albanians. The destruction of the Serbian Television station did it for me last night. Lots of Serbian civilians senselessly killed. Neither side is right here and we're fooling ourselves if we think otherwise.

Indeed NATO called the television station a source of "propaganda and lies". If we are now bombing sources of "propaganda and lies", well I can think of a couple of targets in Washington, D.C.....

Sincerely,

Doug F.
