Question for anyone re: IIXC

Per the Dec. 7, l998 news release at DCI's website (www.dcic.com),
"Under terms of the alliance, IXC will acquire a 13% ownership position in DCI, and DCI will be granted five-year leases to utilize specified IXC facilities to support its expanding long-distance and prepaid phone card business."

The link below, dated April 22, l999, that I posted yesterday, refers to IIXC's initial $25 million order to CIEN for "MultiWave(R) Sentry(TM) dense wavelength division multiplexing (DWDM) optical transport systems for deployment in its nationwide high-speed fiber optic network."

newsalert.com

Purely by coincidence (well, i like telecomms....what can i say?), I ran across this additional mention of IXC yesterday as well. From April 21, l999 first quarter results on Digital Lightwave (DIGL).

"During the first quarter, Digital Lightwave added several new customers, including Advanced Fibre Communications, CIENA and Gabriel Communications. Existing customers taking product deliveries during the quarter included Alcatel, Frontier Communications, Fujitsu, GTE Internetworking, IXC Communications, MCI WorldCom, and Nortel Networks."
*********************************************************************

My question is this: are the "SPECIFIED IXC FACILITIES" mentioned in the agreement between DCI & IXC possibly including these state-of-the-art facilities?

My HOPE is that the specified items include, AT THAT TIME, technology that IXC would utilize in the future. Anyone know for sure?

Thanks!!!!!!!

Dr. Now you got it! This stock is FAR undervalued right here and now!!! The stock is down in the dumps, IMO, mainly because of an orchestrated rolling/growing short position.

MONTHS ago here on S.I. I led the drive down to squash all the stinking shorts into the dirt -- and make us all very, very rich as a by-product. IMO, "we all" stopped buying and the shorts who were in need of a awful lot of capital at that moment in time, were "going broke" left to selling their "shares" into thin air. The stock cratered from $1.50++ to well under 3/4ths. The "shorts" were feeling REAL PAIN and were running scared, IMO. IMO, they had significant financial obligations and had NO CHOICE but to sell for whatever price the Market would pay them for their "air".

Had this plan been left alone the "shorts" by now would have likely been busted, possibly bankrupted, and the resulting short-squeeze covering --(not by the bankrupted shorts" but by the resulting NSCC sanctioned "buy in" which would have covered the position IMMEDIATELY, AT ANY PRICE and then gone after the "shorts", their brokers, and their financiers)-- would have shot DCTC far into the double digits. We could have all had 20 to 40 bagger gains taken to the bank by now.

Unfortunately it seems there was rumored an orchestrated move to bring in sustained retail buying, before the "shorts" were actually "dead", thereby giving the "shorts" SIGNIFICANTLY more $$$ for their efforts. Shorts are selling "air." Therefore there is NO LIMIT to the number of "shares" they can sell. They do not "borrow" the shares to short like we do here in the USA. (and we can't borrow DCTC shares anyway, due to regulatory issues) Therefore, as the share price went higher (where it deserved to be BTW) the shorts grew a HUGE FAT BANKROLL, just as I warned it would. This bankroll is now funding their operations, IMO. You don't get high priced attorney's posting "legal notices" or whatever on the internet unless you have the $$$ to hire them with.

We had "them" by the coglioni and they were on the road to ruin, but now thanks to parties unknown to me, they are a very well financed group, out of control and out for blood, IMO.

LEGAL NOTICE: The above is purely a fictional accounting and any resemblance to actual people of places is purely coincidental and likely the result of one's overactive imagination.
