El...accounting problems?...

Look at Cendant....Ouch!...Silverman still trying to regain
WS credibility.

On many issues, Rosen has said that he will get back
to shareholders concerning questions, at a later date.

He did not say that concerning the Q1 financial results.
He assertively said there was "integrity" in the CPQ accounting #'s.

If this turns out to be incorrect then Rosen has done
the shareholders a great disservice.

El, I must have missed the post. I only read what seems to have some content given the first few words. But, as a knee-jerk reaction I would say, "Give me a break." Cash-flow problems? They have over $3B in cash and no debt. If they do have cash flow problems it's of no consequence unless it becomes chronic (not likely). Accounting irregularities? From the little bit I've heard on this thread about Mason he might be a jerk but he sounds like a typical bean-counter. He is probably very keen on counting the beans correctly - to the detriment of anyone getting anything else done.

Sounds like we're reaching a bottom here, in more ways than one.

(Maybe I should read the post now....)
