I agree generally with most but not all that you have said.

re: "are annoyed that analysts do not simply accept the word of AMD"

"annoyed" is not, at all the appropriate word. I am enthused by their provision of an opportunity for us the buy the stock at bargain prices for such a prolonged period of time; I am not at all surprised by a lack of acceptance on the part of analysts to simply accept AMD's word as "gospel" given Jerry's propensity in the past to extrapolate his optimism publicly in the past. I, also, have never ( and I must stress the word: never, felt that he [Jerry] lies ) I feel that his greatest sin (and it is a sin in his world) is that he surrounds himself with "yes men" who only know how to reinforce his enthusiasm less they be fired, transferred, or demoted (or some combination thereof) if they are "stupid" enough to disagree with Jerry. Hopefully, this pattern has been broken, however do not count on it completely. Also, hopefully, Atiq Raza is playing a key and increasing role in this new and, as yet, unproven new pattern of AMD public prompt candor.
