Kowboy is what we call a lackey. Lackeys are guys the company says things to like "Just between you and me... shareholder to shareholder... and don't go putting this on those chat boards!" The company strokes their ego. Makes them feel special. Uses them to say things like "Sklar will be giving a speech at the White House at 8pm" and "Gore will endorse ABFG and will give us exclusive rights to all the gems in Madagascar." Then when it comes time for the company to say something publicly they say "It was just a private tour. It always was just a private tour. So and so must have just misunderstood." The strange thing about lackeys is even though they know deep down things aren't kosher, pride prevents them from seeking out the real truth as betrayal is just too hard to contemplate. It's better they not know. - Jeff
