Because without calling in a Congressman, you guys don't give a S--- about the U.S. Citizens who pay your salary. Thanks for asking. Any further discussion should be off thread.

Dale, I assure you I treated him proffessionally. Probably a lot more proffessional than he treated me. I realize the BS involved with immigration law for this " The land of the free" because I have a Canadian girlfriend and have to deal with the @ssholes at Immigration and customs on a semiannual basis. I have been interroggated and threatened with confiscation of my vehicle for bringing her clothes to my house after they refused her entrance for "being here just two weeks prior". Gee I wonder if it had anything to do with the fact that she is very pretty with long blonde hair and the butch lookin INS agent wasn't impressed. It's funny how the very next day the officers at the next bridge let her thru without a problem. Our temporary immigration laws are arbitrary and enforced upon the opinion of the INS officer doing the interogation. If you support this I have to say I will lose a whole lot of respect for you. And just the simple fact that customs and INS are not subject to the Constitution of the US totally sucks.

I was asking Mr. Walsh to help and at least promise that he would do whatever he could. I didn't ask him to break a law. I asked him to access the proper people since he should know who they are and try and get things moving. I did not ask him for a guarantee that he could do it. I did not ask him to break a law, jsut not to quote it to me as I already know the laws are prohibitive to a quick, temporary solution.

Good day and yes my opinion of "most" G-employees that I have had the displeasure of dealing with are a total waste of a paycheck and wouldn't be able to hold a job in the private sector if they performed like they do for the government. And that includes all levels from municiple to county to state to feds. I can give you a longer list of examples on all levels if you really want it but I think you know it to be fact.
