Hi Jay, Re: "Remember the initiative last year to remotely support third party software for $25 per month"

I was thinking more along the lines of several dot.com's wanting to launch their sites (i.e. e-sites, IA-sites, etc.) Minimizing launch costs (i.e. capital exp) gets them off the ground quicker, but using someone else's service may possibly come at the cost of a future competitive advantage, depending upon the service and industry.

Also, it may take about 2000 PCs (at the website) to provide content/data crunching for 1.5M connected devices/PCs, depending upon what is computed/transmitted. That's a large cost and maybe this cost could be shared, depending if the load is non-continuous, or maybe the cost could be off-loaded to a company (PC farm) who is able to buy PCs/sw at a lower cost because of high-volume advantages.

My initial reaction is: nice idea for enabling small companies to launch their Internet solutions.
