Why not help out instead of sniping? I think we should all take this to heart when our tempers flare - myself included. I can't do anything directly from Sarajevo to decide how refugee candidates are selected in Skopje. My best advice about working the system is to ask "what do I need to do to get this done?" instead of "why aren't you doing what I want?". People who have no choice but to work within the system will usually be glad to tell you what is required. I also don't know the details of Anthony's dealings with the embassy. I do know the hours they are working there and the pressure they are under. It's possible that Anthony is one of dozens or hundreds of people beseeching the embassy to help them get people out (like every American relative of a Kosovar who is now in Macedonia). I am just saying that I have worked in embassies in situations somewhat similar to what Macedonia is dealing with now. Screaming at people from the outside won't make any difference. If it were me trying to get this done, I would be trying to build allies inside the building, not hammer on them. I hope Anthony can work something out. You may be able to get more information on the new refugee policy at state.gov, or try calling the State Department in Washington. Peace.

Anthony has never asked for anything in return for the information that he has posted on his thread. For the first time EVER he is asking for OUR help, not for himself but for people who have no way of helping themselves. If even half the people who have made money on this board give even a little bit of what they've made on his recommendations it would go a long way to helping the cause. I've been fortunate enough to meet anthony a few times and have a few times and hang out with him. He's all he claims to be, he's not in it for personal glory. It's time to give back to someone who has given us some much. Charlie Meadows
