But at some stage there's got to be a bottom. Certainly Read-Rite's position in the world is very precarious. Their major customers are either trouble or they've changed the way they buy.

But on the upside I keep reminding myself that somehow Read Rite has achieved an areal density that seriously surprised the world in October and they are a good position to supply very high-priced heads to Quantum for their SDLT program.

Currently things look pretty bleak. But where's the bottom? Applied Magnetics has been a disaster for longtime but it still trades. Do we think that Read Rite will go bankrupt before Applied?

In fact, do you all think Read Rite will go bankrupt?
