But at some stage there's got to be a bottom. Certainly Read-Rite's position in the world is very precarious. Their major customers are either trouble or they've changed the way they buy. But on the upside I keep reminding myself that somehow Read Rite has achieved an areal density that seriously surprised the world in October and they are a good position to supply very high-priced heads to Quantum for their SDLT program. Currently things look pretty bleak. But where's the bottom? Applied Magnetics has been a disaster for longtime but it still trades. Do we think that Read Rite will go bankrupt before Applied? In fact, do you all think Read Rite will go bankrupt? Regards, Mark
