I actually found that after a few days it became incredibly easy just to ignore it.... I'd say even easier than a fly!! I guess that it's reflective of the position on the phylogenic tree. Of course like all other things down there (bacteria, viruses, fungi, etc) you still have to keep an eye out to make sure that it doesn't spread or become infectious!!
