Hitesh- re:"access to the home is through cable..."

Hi Hitesh,

AT&T is also telling us that the only broadband option to them where they would have total control is cable.

The LECs and ILECs will have XDSL which will dominate over cable for at least till 2003 (from reports I have read).

Personally, the entire broadband cable broadband paradigm is suspect... it has yet to be proven. On the other hand, phone companies, Bell Labs and garage engineers have been studying and optimizing the phone lines for over the last 75 years.

I don't have a lot of faith in cable. I hope I am proven wrong.

Just my opinion, and happy trading!

Jon :)
