Goldman's comments served only as a catalyst on both amzn and ebay. I think the real move is attributable to an expectation of strong earnings (lower losses). Think about it -- DLJ is something of a heavyweight in equity research and their analyst Jamie Kiggen must have some advance indication of earnings to make this stock his "top pick" and the 285 price target. Also out in the last week, Buy from Bear Stearns and Strong buy from Robbie Stephens. Today Goldman, do you want some more reasons to go long?
