Besides a few random comments, I really don't think this is the general opinion on this thread. After all, IBM, HP, and Gateway seem to be doing very well, and they buy AMD CPU's.

I think the big thing that ticked me off was the way that Pfeiffer tried to drag the PC industry down with him.

Sure doesn't leave any room for the desktop 7 at Compaq with their big Alpha push.
