I guess I'm not a great stock picker
I'm no picker, I just go with the flow of whatever seems to be the leader in the field. Dollar cost averaging is great too with todays low commission rate you don't have to buy big quantities. I suggest buying once a month from the big players, Dell, Cisco, IBM, MSFT, INTC, AOL, etc. Those same stocks everyone has been buying for a few years (You can include non -techs like Pfizer, Walmart, Qualcom, etc.) Just buy one stock a month and make your own mutal fund. Just close your eyes on downturns and keep accumulating. I had returns of 91% last year, and what I don't know about this market would make a large book.
