It's a tough call. I certainly respect a company that withdraws to get a better price. Also like it when a company buys its own stock back only to resell it later for profit. I think it would be interesting for Hutchinson for example to buy back some of its recent secondary offering and then sell it again when the market has changed.

For some reason, Dragon is having troubles. Some of it might be sales troubles, but just as likely I think they must be watching the price of Lernout & Hauspie and wondering if the market is willing to give them the valuation they think they deserve.

Besides, I wonder if they really need money? Maybe the Baker's aren't too fussed. Certainly you can argue that Seagate has a lot of stock in companies that trade publicly and it doesn't show up in the Seagate share price now. So, why should it make that much difference with Dragon?

Oh!!! I had money waiting for DRGN. I guess I will just have to hold on to it longer.

Pure speculation, Intel may be a possible purchaser of Dragon as well.
