Class-action lawsuit filed against Iridium
NEW YORK—Investors in Iridium L.L.C. filed a class-action lawsuit against the company, charging that certain officers and directors of both Iridium and Motorola Inc. issued false and misleading statements and failed to reveal the problems associated with the Iridium system's commercial launch.
Eligible for the class are stockholders on record from Sept. 9, 1998, to March 29. Interested stockholders have until June 21 to participate in the class. The law firm of Wolf Haldenstein Adler Freeman & Herz L.L.P. is handling the case on behalf of investors.

Does anyone think that the market has finally decoupled I* and G* or is it more to the point that all the available attention is on I* and G* is simply passing under the screen?

I think G* has been beat down so far, it is now just getting back some of the interested money forced out when the Zenit went boom. Last year's event pushed the time horizon out too far for many money people. Some had the extra cash to park in a long term story, (ex. Soros) but most will wait a little longer.

The tide will not start coming in until this fall. I look forward to G* taking a hit due to the bad publicity with I*. I want the less dedicated people to pull out so I can finish my buys before the first of July. Then when those less dedicated (but still interested) people see things are really starting to pick up, they will jump back in and the price rise will start in earnest.
