Comments:

At Intel's analyst meeting yesterday, they stated that the camino chipset is still on track to rollout in September. We will have better visibility to see if they meet this deadline. They made little mention of Rambus except to say Rambus architecture is still the chip that they will use. The synchronus Dram has proven to maximize the Camino's capability.

Possible negative that would effect RMBS is the minimal discussion about the street has sparked some rumors that RMBS would be scraped. We have stated that this is not the case and Intel confirmed this yesterday. the second concern is that the Camino chip would be delayed again.

MSDW believes (my words)there is an 85% chance that the chipset will be rolled out on time and they continue to recommend RMBS and would buy on weakness.
