1 Year Anniversary Today is the one year anniversary of the shooting death of a local teacher. Shot to death by a student at a dance. There is a candlelight service tonight in memory of this teacher. The community here is still feeling the pain of this event. The media, in both good ways and bad has help feed that pain. But truly this man should not be forgotten as he gave his life to the students he was committed to educating. Being that this shooting was committed off school grounds at at evening dance, the media has not focused on this shooting, and relating to the Littleton Tragedy . And for the community here that is a good thing. IMHO
