so if one leverages at 4:1, he'll equal the s & p. I am not sure what percentage they use but I think it depends on the strike prices etc.. The bottom line is equal the S and P 500. Up here we even have European Index; Asia; International that are considered Canadian using the same loopholes that individuals and mutual funds have---ie 20% foreign. It might just be a matter of time before they start curbing this activity IMHO. As a solution, they could increase the foreign content limits in return. Just pure speculation.
