Mark, I see a major problem with many schools teaching students that the most important thing is to be an "individual". What many fail to understand is that once out in the work place the boss is not looking for an employee wanting to be "doing their own thing", he/she wants someone who is willing to work within their prescribed set guidelines. Exploring who you are and what you can do for yourself seems to prevail, but that was not what God intended! Children are too young and immature to decide how to dress for themselves so a set standard is important, IMO. Having been in the military I know the importance of maintaining order and discipline and part of that is done by enforcing a strict dress code. But you would be amazed at how many of the younger troops try to be different by exploring different ways of wearing their covers. :0 Chris
