Don,

I believe the reverse is always true. The market goes up and down. And I do agree that the downside action is always faster than the time it took to go up. But I always base my positions on what I am seeing overall in the market. Even when you go back to 1987 and observe the charts prior to the markets caving in there was some indication (however brief) that the trend was changing. After looking at many charts over the years I am a firm believer that every move either up or down starts someplace. That's why I am keeping a close eye on things right here. We have many charts attempting to break through consolidation areas any failure would cause some sort of give back in prices. However, I do not see a move to 7400. So I believe are expectations may be somewhat different.

I would never disagree that the markets are capable of making swift forceful moves in either direction.

Good trading.

SO

Don, You had mentioned in your Index update that the DOT has resistance at 650 and then 675. It is now at 690. Any thoughts ? Thanks.
