LG, Of course some will profit from these swings, as they will quick to make the reads and nimble enough (access to their brokerage coupled with great brokerage executions) to make the trades. But most will not! Yes you're right. Because if any severe downdraft in the market were to hit, access to your brokerage plus great execution would be like saying "jumbo shrimp" <g> If 1987 were to happen all over again, even with the advent of the computer, the problems that most experienced would imo happen all over again. I just don't believe the technology or capacity is there yet. The system will inevitably be tested. I am just not ready to say that it will be anytime soon. Time will tell. Good trading. SO
