Mary,

They can't seem to make anything that can be used coming out of the box.

Don't know what you've experienced, but,

Intel's servers where all the customer has to do is slap on skins and a logo work fine. I have been a customer of these, so I talk from experience. The ones I'm talking about are up to four way on a motherboard, mucho RAM, redundant, hot swappable drives and power supplies, Landesk, clustered, etc. They work out of the box. After a while, we stopped running any diagnostics on them, just slapped on the logo and shipped them on to our customers..
