I already took chance to buy some more leap calls.
I think Eric visited France or some other place recently.
I am curious whether it is an offshore deal or domestic one.
I think the best bet IMHO will be Intel so that they instantly have good jump networking
as they are looking to diversify their segment. I would like Intel to pay one share of INTC for each share of COMS. They get close 2B in
case and FASB is going to stop pooling of interest by next year.
So all big deals will happen this year.

Jon, I agree with you. I would be suprised if something did not happen this weekend on coms. Could be ericy initially. But, it would'nt suprise me if someone like a siemens came in. Don't expect LU to pull it off. They will be busy with the asnd buyout.

With this kind of volume, it could be a lot of daytrading, but, I think it is more than that. I think something is up.

There was a rumor on a coms buyout a few months back when the stock was a little higher. Obviously, nothing happened, but, volume and coverage was not like it is today. Additionally, coms is not commenting on the news. Shareholders are anxious after being at 90 a couple of years ago. Coms is loosing marketshare and needs a telecommunications company to help get deeper into the internet business. It makes total sense for someone to buy these guys out. I believe they will if not this weekend soon.

Target price: $45 a share. Which is obviously a huge premium, but value add is huge.

Disclaimer: I am long COMS.
