Chisy: ~143K is high volume? I don't think so. Basically VLNC appears to be in the bouncy bouncy stage. As some others have pointed out, she's been range bound since ~January. Range bound? Yup, between ~$6.25 on the low end, and ~$8 on the high. If memory serves it's done this round-trip roughly once a month since that aforementioned January.

Some of us, ;-), have added a traders "slice" to holdings, and have been playing "handball" with the bouncy bouncy. Buy it in the low $6's, sell it in the high $7's. If'n yer "slice" is a few K shares, well....profit is profit, eh? And if you've double the "balls,"(ahem), you could then turn around, short the same amount and await the return trip. Of course, that's a much more risky bet, me thinks.

Now, since we're approaching the May time-frame(5 months into 1999 and almost 2/3rds into VLNC's fiscal first quarter),........about those p.o.s'.....
