"This is true, but there are huge advances to be made in CPU processing and graphics capability, for those who need them. This will require multiple processors and dies."

"...those who need them..."

10% tops.

Buy a $300 PC and get a Playstation2. You heard the specs on this thing yet? 75 million polys/sec and 48 Gb/s of memory bandwidth.

Complexity is the biggest problem that the people that I deal with are having. Windows is just way too much for most to handle - even with that damn paper clip jumping around. I spent two hours yesterday helping someone learn how to change their wallpaper and screen savers.

If someone could introduce a computer that had all the basic functions like word processing, internet, email, and gaming and make it all easy for people to use, then they would be the richest person in the world. Windows does all kinds of stupid stuff to me every day and I'm thinking that the non computer oriented people out there must be furious at Bill Gates and MS. The company's products are horse sh*t. Fortunately, they do seem to be getting better.
