RT,

<Where did you hear about this internal conflict?>

Sorry, I'm just letting the pessimistic side of my imagination run wild....Vlad's fault.

<Maybe Zenenca just doesn't wish to waste the time marketing a product which will be made obsolete by Alibra in 12 months. >

Now that is your conjecture, I don't agree completely about alibra vs muse

A key point about alibra is its suitability for psychogenic ED or mixed ED. Performance anxiety and panic attacks result in the flight and fight response. Hormones eg adrenaline bind to sites on the penile smooth muscle cells and cause them to contract preventing blood flow into the penis. Now a good dose of alprostadil will relax the muscle cells and lead to an erection. Prazosin competes with adrenaline etc for the binding sites on the muscle cells and essentially blocks the fight and flight response. Thus with prazosin in alibra, relatively little alprostadil is needed to relax the muscle cells and result in an erection. Thus it should be good for men with psychogenic ED. In men with mixed ED, the prazosin will combat the psychogenic part and the alprostadil will combat the organic part.

Alibra might not be as good as muse in men with severe organic ED as here the penis needs to be hit with a large dose of alprostadil muscle relaxant. ALIBRA MAY NOT MAKE MUSE OBSOLETE - MUSE AND ALIBRA TARGET OVERLAPPING BUT DIFFERENT ED PATIENTS POOLS. VIVUS WILL HAVE TWO COMPLEMENTARY PRODUCTS!...possibly
