Next on the list. So I worked for 30 hours in a row without sleep, staying in my classroom wrapping up the school year early because of strike notice being given by our union and a 4 PM lock-out by our employer. All attempts at negotiation had failed after one month. Students, parents, agencies, etc are all braced for a public school strike to commence Monday AM. Less than one hour before the strike is to commence the !@#$%^& government calls an inquiry delaying the strike for a few weeks! They could have done this days ago and saved everyone the panic! What a bunch of A$$HOLES! The Colorado tragedy has had quite an effect around North America. I teach the kind of kids who perpetrated it. We're still decoding "why" in the classroom.
