the stock has acted very well after a huge selloff
on very big volume, bouncing back from 112 (50DMA)
and stabilizing today at 145 level, this is now the
floor and we should test 175 soon!

"frenzy meter"?

I have never thought of using that description but kinda.

All stocks run in technical cycles. The bars are one part of the equation in the Moving Average Convergence Divergence formulation. You really only read the tip of them as a solid flowing line. The bars and green line together give you a gauge of the momentum that is behind a stock and there are several considerations you should make, too detailed for me to give on this thread, when reading the two as one signal.

Sorry if this sounds confusing,

Vendit

The weakness we experience today may in part be attributable to this quote: "Keith Benjamin, analyst at BancBoston Robertson
Stephens said in a research note that Internet
stocks may be poised to fall in the wake of earnings
news from AOL and Amazon.com next week.

"While we hope the fall at the beginning of the week
had some cathartic effect, we fear that the group
may be due for another break after AOL and Amazon report," Benjamin
said.
This quote was taken from CBS MarketWatch.
