I'm no TA expert, but it looked to me like the MMs were just able to run down through the stops because there was no buying first thing in the a.m. They found the buyers at 30 and did a V bottom so they would not end up giving away more cheap shares than they shook on the way down. I was pleasantly surprised by the strength at the end of the day; I expected a combination of profit-taking and pre-weekend selling to take us back to 33 or so by the close. My guess is that people are accumulating for the end of the quiet period (on or about May 4). Go look at charts for EPAY, VERT, ROWE, CTIX, etc., to see the phenomenon. I also expect the portals to generate some excitement this week when AOL announces earnings.

Good luck!
