Fiji had it right but I think they are probably losing it..
It seems you think it is wise to be a world power..and have money control your thought patterns..In Fiji they had a custom which in effect discouraged people from materialism..If you had something for instance,your cousin wanted,he could ask for it and to save face..you would have to get it to him.. so it is better to have little..
Again I have noticed that I have met more people with "grace" from poor countries than from wealthy countries..
a lot of individuals don't want power..because it makes them rub shoulders with lowlifes striving for power,money,etc
ps Fiji does have gold mines :-)
