I'll repeat, Sun wins hands down in the high-end server and I have not knocked that in any of my posts. As you agree with me, for workstations nothing really can beat NT/95/Linux + PC. As a result I see proprietary iron UNIX workstation market shrinking significantly in the near future. Also, current Linux distributions (Redhat) are of commerical quality and provide an excellent base for any file, print, web and database server needs ; in the 4-8 way server market. The latter trend is the most dangerous to Sun as the bulk of their server sales are 4-8 way.
