Dan B,

Re: "NSM/Cyrix entered into this game two years ago. Mighty Intel, technologically and historically speaking, will irrevocably go down as having played catch-up to date- just following the leader. Integration is not an MHZ speed race".

Dan you should know that the Gx was a huge success initially as Compaq designed it into the first sub $1000 computer.

SInce then the National folks have lost Compaq and every other major computer manufacturer for the Gx.

It is now relegated to the "thin client" market.

They had a 2 year lead and on Monday will have completely pissed it away.

The follow up product the Mxi - which Halla announced had taped out for the final time about 6-8 months ago is nowhere to be seen. And has allegedly been delayed indefinately.

I suspect that history will not be kind to NSM in their abject failure to capitalize on this low end integrated marketplace.

Regards,

Kash

Danby - Re: " Integration is not an MHZ speed race. "

It isn't ?

Then why do the SLOOOOOOOOOOOOOW MediaGX's sell for peanuts?

You just watch NSM's Media GX roll out of the gutter down into the storm sewer.
