We've lost the PR war. It is now acceptable logic to use the gun as the embodiment of social crisis. Some of this histories most heinous crimes were carried out with weapons other than guns. Here's another fact: There are more child abuse victims each year then there are gun shot victims. If we take away the guns, then shouldn't we take away the "weapon" used to abuse children? When something like Littleton occures, we have this knee jerk response that doesn't seem to make things any better. I do hope this made sense. :-) PB Edit: I'm a member of the NRA.
