Entirely reasonable.

One thing for all to consider. There is no way to readily determine in whose hands all the stock resides today. Volume has been so high that it could be anywhere. I don't believe the insiders are allowed to vote their shares. So it is not impossible - unlikely, yes - that the Homestake merger could be turned down.

But at the end of the day, I think you are right. This will be a Homestake/Barrick JV.
