Well... there is no doubt that Greenline panicked in my mind. If they had even phased in the process until today even, people could have at least gotten their fully extended positions covered... with maybe even a couple cents left to buy a coffee. As it was, people essentially got forced into selling at between $8.60 and $12ish. I'm planning on talking to them this week about it. As I said in my original message I think Investorline handled it MUCH BETTER. The sad thing is that the the forced selling initiated by Greenline flooded the supply side of the equation up here, which I think forced the price down right across the board. By their imprudent action they caused even greater losses than would have occurred if the process could have taken place in a more orderly, phased-in fashion... resulting in even larger losses to those who had to sell out. I don't know if there is any legal recourse but there is not doubt in my mind that they have lost a lot of clients as a result of this - both in the short term but more importantly in the long term. But then, maybe they don't care.
