El-- the two best chances came this week---too early for Rosen to have accomplished anything that is certain. Eliminating the twins was big to start with,,, with the way the mkt ran this week and cpq not even thinking of participating they may as well have reported .06 or -.16 it would have made no difference. It looks like there is much more work to be done than I realized.. much more time will be required to get to an acceptable exit point--- hopefully it will move close enough to my exit point to become a short term tax writeoff this year..

El: The DJ Newswire boys gave CPQ the "Your Phired Award" today for the way they dumped EP.

On a positive note - at least CPQ closed within its base on average volume. The bleeding has stopped. They're going to have to screw up again in order to re-open the wound. Of course, screwing up could mean doing nothing, too. IMO, WS will give CPQ about 1 month to show some signs of progress in the execution area. If nothing happens, we may see a slow bleed to 20.
