To All, a note on the pc forecasts that Gene was kind enough to alert me to. I had seen the story before, but just skimmed it. Anyway, here is what it looks like:

1. A down quarter sequentially in units in the 7% range. I haven't a clue on ASPs this quarter.

2. The mighty direct sellers that are killing the mainstream players, now have a less than majestic 15% worldwide market share. A very weak model given the amount of time they have been running it and the weak players who used to be in the channel (Acer, AST, Dec, etc.). If they are killing the mainstream players, it must be with boredom. <g> They are doing their part to kill profit margins for everyone.
